FINCODA project
FINCODA (Framework for Innovation Competencies Development and Assessment) was a European Erasmus+ funded project implemented between 2015 and 2017, aiming to develop and assess individuals’ innovation competencies. The project was carried out as a European consortium bringing together universities and companies, combining pedagogical expertise with practical insights from working life innovation contexts.
The project originated from the need to strengthen innovation capacity in both higher education and working life. One of its key outcomes was the FINCODA Innovation Barometer, an assessment tool designed to measure individuals’ capacity for innovation across different dimensions and to support the development of these competencies through collaboration between higher education institutions and companies.
As a predecessor to SINCOE, FINCODA provided an important foundation for the work continued in the SINCOE project. The FINCODA materials are made available on the SINCOE website to preserve the results of the earlier project and to provide access to the tools and resources on which the subsequent work builds.
In addition to the online application, FINCODA produced a range of practical materials and outputs, including:
- Needs Analysis in All Partner Companies
- Guide to University–Company Co-operation
- User Guide
The materials and outputs developed during the FINCODA project are available on our FINCODA materials page.
